What are the ways to cool down the glass tempering furnace?

There are three kinds of cooling modes for FRP furnace. Choosing suitable cooling modes for different situations is helpful for the normal operation of FRP furnace, and it is not easy to cause problems and faults, thus prolonging the service life of FRP furnace.

 The three cooling modes of steelmaking furnace are natural cooling, emergency cooling and furnace cleaning cooling. Natural cooling is suitable for the normal operation of the steelmaking furnace. Due to holidays or changes in production plans, production is stopped within a certain period of time. Natural cooling takes about two days. This method can protect the heat preservation system of the steelmaking furnace. Emergency cooling and furnace cleaning cooling are to reduce the temperature of the furnace body in a short time, so as not to waste production time. No matter which cooling method is adopted, there are certain steps to be noted. The operators of the steelmaking furnace should do a good job of cooling the steelmaking furnace according to the actual situation.

1. Natural cooling: The tempering furnace is not used for more than three days. This method can be used.

1. Turn off the heating control switch and pull down the heating circuit breaker. The heating system has no power supply.

2. Turn off the control and power switch of the upper stage, the lower stage and the windshield section, leaving only the heating main drive running.

3. Let the temperature drop naturally. When the temperature drops to 300 degrees, turn off the main drive control and power switch.

4. Turn off the main switch and lock the cabinet door.

2. Emergency cooling: This method is used in case of sticking or explosion incidents.

1. Turn off the heating control switch and pull down the heating circuit breaker. The heating system has no power supply.

2. Turn off the control and power switch of the upper stage, the lower stage and the windshield section, leaving only the heating main drive running.

3. Open the top cone valve and two furnace doors to accelerate air convection in the furnace.

4. When the temperature drops below 600 degrees, raise the furnace body by 5CM, and then by 5CM after half an hour, and so on.

5. When the temperature drops to 300 degrees, it can rise to the top, put on the safety tip, and prepare to clean the furnace.

6. When the temperature drops to 200 degrees, the four corners of the furnace body are blown to the furnace by fans, and the temperature drops rapidly to about 50 degrees. The staff can clean up the glass fragments on the ceramic rollers and the lower iron plate.


3. Cooling by Cleaning Furnace

1. Turn off the heating control switch and pull down the heating circuit breaker. The heating system has no power supply and the heating system power supply is cut off.

2. The cupola is tempered with glass defective products without heating, and the temperature of the cupola is lowered below 600 degrees.

3. Open the top cone valve and two furnace doors to accelerate air convection in the furnace.

4. When the furnace temperature drops to 200 degrees, the furnace body is raised to the top.

5. When the temperature drops to 100 degrees, the four corners of the furnace body are blown to the furnace by fans. When the temperature drops rapidly to about 30 degrees, the staff can prepare to clean the furnace.
