Common Faults and Solutions of Glass Tempering Furnace

     

With the increasing demand of people, the design of tempered glass is becoming more and more diversified. Whether it is building glass or automotive glass, it requires accurate positioning and high accuracy. In fact, there are two kinds of common faults in small glass tempering furnace, namely poor adhesion and bubble. Poor adhesion:

(1) Insufficient processing temperature or holding time; Solution: According to the process requirements to ensure heating temperature and holding time.

(2) Film failure; Solution: Ensure the film storage environment, as soon as possible after the whole roll is unpacked or sealed to preserve, put the film for a relatively long time, it is recommended to do a small sample to verify the normal adhesive force of the film (such as edge grinding).

(3) The surface of glass is not clean; the solution is to clean the glass oil and dust.

Bubble phenomenon occurs:

(1) The surface of glass is uneven, especially toughened glass; the solution is to increase film thickness.

(2) film thickness is not uniform; solution: avoid film overlapping or splicing.

(3) Sandwich ornaments have moisture; Solution: fully drying ornaments.

(4) Stop the vacuum pump prematurely; Solution: The vacuum can be stopped until the temperature is below 40 degrees.

(5) Vacuum bag leakage or vacuum pump failure; Solutions: replace the silica gel bag, ensure the operation of the vacuum pump, improve the vacuum degree (> 0.094 Mpa).

(6) Temperature rises too fast; Solutions: Slow down the heating rate, step by step, do EVA heating to 70 degrees for 10 to 15 minutes, then to 120 degrees for 40 to 50 minutes, PEV temperature to 75 degrees for 10 to 20 minutes, then to 130 degrees for 30 to 60 minutes, depending on the thickness of the glass.
